Good evening everyone. I grill/BBQ at least once each month regardless of outside temperature. Been doing that since we bought the house in Dec '98. Family tradition now, so why stop.
I have to trim the apple tree in the front yard anyway, so that's where I get my smoking wood. I agree, it gets difficult to maintain smoking temperature when the outside temps drop below 15 or near the low-single digit temps. I keep my BBQ on the back patio. I can usually position it so the wind is blocked, but sometimes the wind swirls enough to blow out my flame. You gotta do, what you gotta do to keep the ladies happy. Should be a fun and interesting day tomorrow.
Good morning Idaho, happy last day of February! Craig, I run down to Nebraska City, they have a TON of apple orchards down there, and I can use get wood at a good price.
