turbo v10 2v

Ok so I was gonna swap out my v10 for a 7.3 powerstroke and have changed my mind instead I'm going to turbo charge the existing v10. However I'm kinda cheap and want to piece this together myself (not like there is actually a complete kit or anything). I'm trying to find some 42lb injectors from something I can find in the junkyard and have found some info on older efi 460's and some of the imports like superas and such however I can't find any info on if the stock 19lb injectors in an 01 excursion 6.8 are high impedance or low impedance. when I try to look it up I find tons of them for sale but no info on the impedance. Any help would be appreciated.

I talked to one of the guys on YouTube that had a stock engine and turbo'd it and he barely made any power and was really disappointed. I'm sure if done right it could be pretty cool just make sure to do every power mod along with the turbo to get the most out of it. I seriously wish a better intake manifold was created aftermarket and heads

Does anyone know of an aftermarket turbo kit?
Anyone out there running a turbo on a V10?
I would love to turbo mine, but am afraid of blowing a head off.

I have never seen a aftermarket turbo kit that was a bolt on affair.

I doubt you would blow the heads off, more likely to push a piston and or rod thru block due to detination if all is not set up well. With stock parts I like water methanol injection to prevent detination. I run 12 psi on my supercharged V10 with no knock or any pinging.

There are good turbos for our motors. One is a Borg Warner S300 with 76mm turbine wheel and a .91 AR housing.

It will be highly efficent below 4500 rpm, but bog motor a little above that rpm. Just wastegate at 9 psi, and inject water meth at 5 to 7 psi.
