Looking forward to what they have to say. Trying to finalize some plans that weekend/week since the kids are on spring break starting that weekend. Looks like the Pavement Princess might get some serous road miles for a couple of days around that weekend.Well crap, who let this clown in?

I just got off the phone with Dave. He was able to secure the use of his church on the 21st from noon until 5:00 pm. So the venue is set.

Other than the first post I don't see any discussion about food. I like Dave's idea of the chili/soup cook off. That (I think) went over quite well the last time we did it.

 

I told Joe he should have changed the locks. Guess he was politely ignoring me.1200 to 1700 on the 21th...sounds good to me. Chili/soup cook off is your suggestion? Hmm, this could be interesting since several of us have wide waist lines....including me!

 

No. Dave suggested it in post #1, I was seconding it.

The sad fact of the situation is we won't be getting 50 new people showing up. It'll be more or less the same group that always show. That isn't a bad thing as I always enjoy seeing and catching up with everybody, but the point is that as long as a few of us show up with a full crock pot it will not be difficult to feed the width of our waistlines.

 

Fear not! I'm sure we can put a little diesel on a rag and put it in a jar under the seat.. We can even blow a little soot in there for good measure..

I'm going to patent that, diesel air freshener!

The chili cook off deal sounds good to me then.. lets make it official.

 

I still have that cracked injector (holding it for a core) from the last time I was in Vilonia...think I should put it back in Joe? Don't want to be the only guy not blowing a little soot like those big block trucks.Sounds like a done deal. Besides chili, is there anything (food wise) that we're going to do? Chips, deserts...large bottle of Rolaids?

 

Lots of "fixins". Shredded cheese, crackers, fritos, diced onion...... desserts are always good.

Rolaids would most definitely be a plus.
