Well, try looking for a set of Gt-40 heads that be a good place to start, and you'd be surprised what a good tune up can do.
Unfortunately there isn't too much out there in the plug and play world, if you want more power, it usually involves A block build and new EEC.
And with that, usually a new stand-alone transmission controller.

Well Im young and don't have a good income so I'm on a tight budget but throughout time I can save up and buy stuff I don't want to put any more than 1000 and that's still a little above what I want to spend. The only reason I say such a low budget is because I want to save up and buy a 1977 ford crew cab and put a cummins in it. Also for fast I'm not sure what the top speed is right know but im hopping I can make it do around 100 if possible. I also want a lot of torque. Speed isn't everything to me I just want a really good truck that I can do some mudding with, tow a trailor, and have some speed when I want it.

These trucks are speed limited to 85mph in some cases so you probably won't ever see 100mph, and if you want torque you totally bought the wrong motor.. the 5.0 is the weakest mill in the stable in that regard. You can get the effect of big torque with deeper axle gearing but that also means you absolutely cannot put big tires on it or if you do you have to go even deeper with the gearing.
What gearing does and tires the truck have now? The axle code on the drivers door pillar decal will decode to a gear ratio so post it up.
