Just some thaughts on leaf removals

Pros:

It´s cheap.........

Cons:

You will lower the truck by lowering the spring stiffness (Removing leafs). This means that you make the suspension travel smaller and the spring stiffness weaker. This means that you will hit the bumpstops more than once.


Dearcing a spring maintain the spring stiffness but gives you a lower ride. This will give you less bumpstop as the spring stiffness is as stock but still with a shorter suspension travel aka lower ride..

I'm trying to figure out how a dropped or stretched axel helps with oil pan clearance.
