Turn signal switch wiring

Turn signal switch wiring
I just picked up a 75 f250 CC stick shift. Long story short, the problem is the turn signal switch. Two wire on the switch were removed and put together. They worked until you turn on the lights . I put them back to there original spot (from factory) now no workie at all. If I run a jumper across them they work again even with the lights on. The two wires are blue one darker then the other. I need a wire diagram for the switch. Any help would be grateful

I have that one. Looking for one of the actual switch and where they are located. The first two wires on the right of the steering shaft (red circles)were cut and spliced together. One of them went to the black circle. I need to know if I have them back in the right spot. Does the black circle wire go on the bottom red or top? Wire colors are different from factory, what I used to make them longer. Thanks

As a matter of fact, yeah. Go here 1973-1979 Ford Truck Wiring Diagrams & Schematics - FORDification.net for the wiring diagrams. When you open the page, you can click on it and enlarge it so it's real clear.
