Aluminum roof mount cargo carrier on sale
I was checking out the flyer for one of my favorite stores and came across this unit on sale for half price.
For this kind of money it would be a pretty sweet deal if it fit the bill.
250 lb Aluminum Roof Mount Cargo Carrier | Princess Auto
Capacity 250 lb
Overall Dimensions 43-3/4 x 39-1/2 x 6-7/8 in.
I will be heading out to the garage shortly to take some measurements to see how it would fit, but in the meantime I wanted to get some opinions from the group.
My gut feeling is that it's a bit on the small size for an Excursion...

Apoc, if you had actually looked, they ship to the US as well as Canada... So IF you really want one, then jump on the site and buy one!

Figures...they're all sold out within a few hours drive of me.
There is only 1 store in Ontario that has it just happens to be right around the corner from the mother in law in London, Ontario.
I really wanted to check this thing out in person before I made a commitment.
The worst part about it was that I was right around the corner last weekend when we were visting...

I'll be making a phone call to the in laws shortly and see if I can't get one of them to pick it up for me.
I think good ol' Uncle Johnny is on his way into the city this week so I'm hoping I can get it down here then.

My quote was $20 shipping and it's 200km it would have to travel.
Boy do I hate seeing how badly we get ripped off on shipping from the US to Canada
I just paid $35 to ship some coils and spark plugs from Florida.
