02 7.3 starting issues
I have an 02 with the 7.3L. I had to replace the engine and the only onone I could find was out of an ambulance. I had a good friend who's a certified mechanic and runs his own shop put it in. Ever since I got it back it starts hard. It has new glow plugs and just put a new glow plug relay on. The old relay had gotten hot and broke. I know the block heater needs replaced but the only way I can get it to start is putting my small space heater under it which seems like forever. I never had this issue with the original motor. I very rarely plugged it in during the winter and it'd always pop off no problem. Is there something different with the ambulance engines? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
