The winter time blues has struck. Not much progress of late. Got in the mood to work on it some the past few days. I figure it is time to figure out some plumbing in the engine bay. The Aurora 3000/5000 twins are going to be tight to the inner fender so may need some mods. The exhaust is inevitably going to need a hump in the passenger side floor. There just isn’t enough room for a 4” downpipe coming off the bottom turbo that is already further back than the stock turbo.
Not sure what what to do about coolant lines since I am going to go back to a Ford radiator to keep things “clean” looking. I remember some aftermarket place selling coolant lines. Anyone have any experience here?

Not 100% sure what you are referencing when you mentioned the air part. I assume you mean intercooler. I have already been working the 99-03 intercooler previously. It does fit nicely.
I put the passenger side mount with only about 1/8" gap between it and the frame rail. Even the original engine in these was off to the passenger side. I then used my stock motor mounts and cut them off flush at the frame rail. I used the 2nd gen Cummins mounts that came with the Dodge truck. I used 1/8" plate steel to make the mount as well as the gussets. Not much measurements at the time. I just got the engine where I was pleased, roughed out some brackets, tacked them in place, removed and welded up with gussets. Depends on what measurements you are wanting I could cough some stuff up for you.

Ya I was talking about the intercooler, herd that ones from a 6l diesel work good to. I made my mounts yesterday and did the same as u said, just placed the engine where it fit good and made sure that the trans had lots of room all around it. What kind of trans are u using, I'm using the 47re with a full manual valve body and a rachet shifter.

Well I did not get motivated much this winter. I mostly worked on building an electric guitar as something else to do. Now that warm weather is here time for some truck work. Going with a 4” stainless exhaust with a resonator to reduce the drone in the cab. Using a 3rd gen down pipe with a 3.75” flange and about an inch cut off the front end. Next will be to get the cab roughly in place and see if I just hammer and dolly the floor out of the way or if I will need more drastic measures. There just is not room for 4” exhaust and other way.

After a long and slow effort with body work, panel replacement, and rust repair over the past two summers, finally some color. Sorry the two tone picture is dark. the dark blue is not anywhere near that dark, but it was close to the sun setting. I at least try and do good body work. I like the challenge of painting, but I never expect it to be show quality. Both blues are metallic. Painting season is just about done here in the mountains of PA. Getting too cold to paint.
The winter will be time to sand and buff back the clear, de-anodize and polish the trim, figure out the wire harness and some things like a hydro-boost setup. The Cummins is at a friends shop getting a refresh. With the compound turbos he said a good target is 600 rear wheel horsepower.
