Anyone in the Tulsa area?

I found an ad on CL with parts for my other OT project. The price is right and I would even be willing to drive down and pick them up. It's about a 12 hour one way drive and I'd use the trip as a mini vacation since I've never been in that part of the country but at this time of year that could turn into a very dicey venture. I don't want to get caught broke down in a snow storm or freezing temps.

I would like to know if any Tulsanians would be willing to pick up the parts and either storm them for me until nicer weather or strap them to a pallet and ship them up here. Right now the seller has one other party interested in them but haven't gotten back to him yet so it's not a done deal for me yet. The seller is moving and wants the parts out.

The parts include two doors, two front fenders (which are for a late '30s car so they are big, butterfly type hood, grill shell and a few smaller parts.

If by chance anyone coming up to the Chicago area from this area, and if you have the room, maybe we can work something out. I could meet you in the Chicago or northern Illinois area.

Good luck Bob
I hope you find someone in the area.

Didn't there used to be a group over on the HAMB dedicated to "parts transportation"?

Yeah, I'll check the HAMB

I've told you I want to make a trip to your place some day, if the timing was right I'd do it now and I'd be knocking on your door in two days. I just don't like traveling this time of year.

Heck Bob,
I think it was in the low 60's here today. But, there has been some dicey weather east of here lately.

It seems like we used to have several members in the Tulsa area. I can't recall any names though.

I just looked around at the HAMB, I cant find what I was thinking of. But then again, I haven't poked around there much and especially since they went to the new layout
