Rims?

I have a 72 F100 and was exploring the option of getting new rims/tires. Anyone have any ideas for me? Make/Model/Size? Thanks!

Like what? You want chrome? Black? White? Aluminum? Gun metal? More open? More wheel? Spokes? There are WAY to many wheel styles out there. Pick something you like.

As for tires, 235/75-15 all around. 235/70-15 fronts, 275/60-15 rears. 31x10.50-15 all around. But all that can change depending on wheel size

Chrome. I have aluminum right now. Made by (something) racing. Have an open mind tho. Trying to see what others have for their setup just to get some ideas. Pics? I've also been wanting something that makes the truck have more of a "racing" look

This could go on like a "what oil should I use?" thread.

My red F100 has some old 15 inch Uniques with Cooper Cobra's 275/60/15 all around, and the blue f100 I snagged some old ford wheels and threw on my old BF goodrich A/T's, 30x10.5 15's

I still want to lower the rear of the red one......not sure if I will go with a black rim after.....but like others said before, there's alot of options

Jake, Anything Ford 1/2 ton truck through 96 will work. The lug pattern is 5 X 5 1/2. Car wheels don't fit. A little basic info.

Asking us might make you even more undecided on what rims to get as we all have our own opinion and looks we like. What size tires are you wanting? If it's going on the yellow truck in your signature my vote is for some 17" chrome or black rims with some spokes maybe a gunmetal deprnding on the rim. There's so many choices out there it's hard to narrow them down. I been thinking of what rims I want on my 71 for 3 years and have yet to decide. Good luck. Plenty of rim pictures on threads on this site.

If a "race" look is what your after, I suggest these. I think they would look pretty darn cool on a yellow truck.

^ not bad looking rims and they have some chrome mixed in which makes them look even better.

New Mickey Thompson ST tires

Mine came with these 8" wide aluminum slotted mags and I like them because they match the old school look of the body...but put on anything you like on your truck.

If I had a F100 I'd have the old school chrome reverse wheels with the baby moons like Trozei's truck and a few others. I still like the look. The slotted mags above will always be Cool also. I suggest you keep an eye peeled on this thread pics of lowered 67-72 ford trucks? ( 1 2 3 4 5 ... Last Page)
lance65 .
As folks chime in with pics of their Bumps you can see if some wheel tripps your trigger.
