Hey Mike,
What model Borla mufflers are you using? Is it the XR-1? I like the sound from your video. But its always hard to really tell the volume from online videos. How would you say the sound level is? I like those mufflers but don't want obnoxious loud. How are they for just tooling around town?
Im after a tuned sound that isn't crazy when just tooling around.

They now make an equivalent muffler in a crate motor specific style, see second link. Good luck with whatever you choose. I know mufflers are one of the toughest choices and every combo is different.

I used Eastwood's satin chassis black 2 part epoxy and primer. It has held up very well after 4000 miles. a few chips on things like the 4 link bars but the nice thing about Eastwood"s is you can get touch up in a rattle can. I did get some brake fluid on the frame when I had the proportioning valve problem, sat on the frame for awhile with no damage.

It has been 20 months since Belle was "finished" so I thought I would take a few minutes and do an update.
She now has 4850 miles and has averaged 20.40 MPG.
There have been no problems other than a slow AC leak that I haven't felt like fixing.
Since the air filter is mounted under the left wheel well I was concerned about dirt. Today I cleaned the filter and was very pleased that it wasn't really necessary.
A little bit of debris where the air inlet dumps on top of the filter.
Can still see plenty of light through the filter. Since it was out I cleaned it. Won't check it again for 5K miles.
I took some time to do a couple upgrades.
I had a problem with the wipers jumping around so used a combination of Auto Zone and marine wipers to make something that works better for me.
I didn't like the rubber upper radiator hos so I made this stainless replacement.

Because I used a front suspension from a 53-56 F100 when I made a slight turn into a driveway and hit a bump the front tires would just touch the inside of the fenders. I change the front wheel backspace from 3.75" to 4" and they don't rub now. Someones going to get a nice pair of wheels.
I think the only thing I would do different is to go with manual brakes. The power is OK but not necessary. Because Belle has the stock pedals you can't rest your heel on the floor when braking. The harder you are on the brake the more your weight transfers to the brake pedal starting a cycle that continues until your eyes pop out.
