New Years Resolution: Get F-3 Restoration Done!
My uncle bought this truck in the early 70's, and I bought it from another uncle 12 years ago. I thought I had all the parts my hired wrench needed to finish this old boy, but after he put a new clutch kit in, he informed me that I had the wrong tail shaft seal for the 3-speed Heavy Duty trans (T87?), and other parts for the drive shaft center support and Timken (4:87 ?) axle. Are there some reliable parts number charts or some exploded view diagrams available on-line for these trucks, please? I didn't want to waste anyone's time, but I've searched unsuccessfully. I'm so close to making this truck "like new" and roadworthy again, just as it deserves to be! Thank you, and Happy New Year!

Well I'm far from an expert, but maybe I can get the ball rolling.
By the way, this is worth it's weight in gold: 1948-56 Ford Truck Master Parts Catalog CD - HiPo Parts Garage
Here is what I have on your transmission.
Can you point out the part you are looking for and I can look up the ford part number. Maybe an expert will be along to point you directly to it.
