The A/C keeps the whine-meter from running, Pat.

I don't run the AC in mine, unless the wife is with me.

Pat I use it to let the trucks interior cool down in the summer before I leave the house. As George said it keeps the whine meter quiet. I use it in the winter to clear snow and ice off the windows so I can play in the snow more.
