Morning Bill, Rob, John and anyone that maybe lurking. One day grind here before the weekend starts but I think that I will be back in the office over the weekend to get some work done while its quiet.

Having to work today. At least the boss gave me permission to work remotely so I could spend the new year with my folks in Colorado. Just have some mind-numbing technical documentation to put together. Zzzzzzz....

Remote work is a nice perk. We didn't have that at the old place, but admittedly doing the freelance drafting/engineering gig allows me to work in my pajamas...lol. And the extra cash never hurts.

I know what you mean by the free lance work. Years ago I use to work on the side for the land surveyor that I use to work for drafting maps for him. It was nice to have the additional work but it took awhile to get paid for doing it.

So far, this company's been really good about paying the bills. I send an invoice and I generally get paid within 10 days, if not sooner. It's pretty straightforward work without a ton of time investment, and the extra cash is definitely welcome.

Evening Steve...good to hear. I made some headway too - not as much as I'd have liked but any forward progress is good progress.
Gotta head out to the hardware and a couple other places...be back in a bit.

that's great, bill. i finally got that stuck bolt out. it was actually frozen in the water pump, so i took all the other bolts out of the pump, slid a hacksaw blade in there and cut the bolt. then i had to use an extractor on the broken bolt in the block, but it came right out. i am SO happy. the water pump is pretty old so i'm going to just replace the pump and thermostat while i have it all apart. i'm going to flush the system, too.
