Odd miss fire or stall or idk what
Finally got the 79 f250 4wd 400 c6 on the road.
Starts up runs great idles great drives great for about 10-15 mins. Then boom starts going sluggish falls on its face stalls out. Coast it off the road start it up rough idle limp home.
Had other things to do let it go for few days started her up run fine took her for a spin. Same thing happened again. Ran fine 15-20 mins then boom. While limping home again ocasionslly in between stalling out and dying. During the stuttered limp it will all of a sudden run fine for 10 seconds then start to stall.

First, you need to do some serious trouble shooting. From your description it could be either fuel or ignition related, you need to find out which or you'll be throwing parts/money at a "problem" that may not be the problem.
Take it for another drive and when it craps out, get out and open the hood, pull the coil wire out of the distributor. Holding it about 1/4" away from the block, crank the engine over. The spark should be a strong, consistent, blue white color. If it's weak, orangish or, most important, inconsistent, then you have an ignition problem. If this is the case, my first suspicion would be the Dura-spark module.
If the spark looks good, start checking the fuel system. When was the fuel filter last changed?
My "guess", from the info provided, the module.

Previous owner started some sort of resto. Which lead me to purchase the truck back about 5 years ago. It was not running then. Due to the fact he painted the fender well before reinstalling the module which then caused it not to ground. He also put a 4bl carb and intake new coil wires plugs dizzy fuel filter and lines on at that time since its been sitting 5 years I didn't change the filter again but I will. He ran new heater hoses which are a lil short and now one sits right against the coil. Wondering if it's a heat transfer issue
