Converting to Raptor Hid Headlights and tailights

Hey guys. I have a set of taillights AND headlights from a 2013 raptor. I think the taillights fit will just bolt in place, but I was unsure about the headlights. Since they are hid, is there something special I need to do?

So you bought a set of take-offs, correct? Likely from Ebay?

If yes, then you'll need this harness:
F150 OEM HID Conversion (2009+) - Wire Harnesses - Components

It's a nice harness. TRS sells a good product. It's pretty easy to install and you can follow the how-to on RaptorRetrofit's website...found here:
Raptor Retrofit - headlight retrofits for 2009+ F150 - Install Videos

He didn't know what he had. Are they in decent shape? Pictures? Want to make a quick couple hundred?

Which bezels? Black or Grey? I have a Chrome set of OEM HIDs sitting in my garage because I'm running a full retrofit currently.

Sorry I was wrong they're off a 2011 raptor. They're chrome with a black outline I do believe. Did the 2011 have hids also?

No. 2011 is halogen. No better than what you have right now.

Do they look like this HID

or this Halogen

The halogen is ok, and the Raptor lights from 2011 will "look" better on the truck with the blacked out surround/bezel. However, you can get some decent performance from them. Buy a set of Philips X-treme Power bulbs and you'll be happy with the halogen output. Should cost you around $40 for the pair.

Now...what you could really do is take your set of halogens off your truck and send them Dawson @ RaptorRetrofit for a full blown HID custom job. He'd be able to transform your housings into a stellar performing, custom built, lighting powerhouse.

That's what I'd do.

I'll look into the bulbs for sure! I'm sure having them converted would be pretty pricey too, would you know about what he runs?

I got the headlights and tail lights out on today. The small difference of the black in them really make the truck look different. Any tips on repairing minor scratches?
