ok so I have a 2003 excursion with a 6.0 I studded the block did the egr delete cleaned up the turbo so it whistles nice and loud again like it did when first got the truck. truck has no power though you can mash the gas to the floor and just crawls up to speed on the highway no engine codes come up no engine light nothing I also have Edge juice with attitude hooked up makes no diff when its on or off. ive been reading up people saying fuel pump could be bad and or injectors I have yet to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to see what pressure im getting . has anyone experienced this problem before and if you have any suggestions on what I can do

If you have an android phone or tablet you can use the Torque Pro app for $5 with most BlueTooth OBD2 adapters.
You can get it here on the Google Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...g.prowl.torque
Here's the ELM327 BT adapter I have for $10 w/Free Shipping:
If you don't have an android device you can use DashCommand on an Apple phone or tablet. Available from the iTunes store here for $10:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dash...321293183?mt=8
I've not tried the DashCommand app but there are several threads on here from people who've had good success with it. It costs twice as much as the Android App but it's for Apple so you have to pay the premium for the name...

For those who aren't technicians and don't ever get a chance to get on the tool trucks, can't really justify the cost for the increased quality that's necessary for someone using them to earn a living so they have to look for more affordable alternatives!
With the explosive growth of powerful laptops and smartphones and a world full of developers who can reach users in almost any part of the world things are getting WAY easier for the hobbyist. Even AutoEnginuity was an impossibility only 15 years ago.
The professional diagnostic gear we have at my shop cost 10's of thousands of dollars and ongoing subscriptions that are necessary for a full service production service center but are WAY overkill for even the advanced hobbyist.

That is too cool - thanks for sharing that. I need that. I will get that. So lets get the thread back on track...
pjace11 the 03 has some unique peculiarities to just that MY. When the high pressure oil pump (hpop) starts to fail, you will notice a dramatic increase of IPR duty cycle to maintain normal ICP pressures. The weak point of the 03 MY is the hpop - later years it is the STC fitting.
also, with the elimination of the EBP you have a VGTMAP strategy in the pcm that wants to cycle through the entire range of turbo movement - when this can not be done in a timely manor the pcm will set a p320B (I think that is it). that will tell you it can't run the mapping process. air leaks matter on this MY but not so much on others.
if you don't know if the FPR has been updated to a blue spring, do it. It is the cheapest thing that can be done to these engines. check the fuel pressure though, or at least watch the bowl fill up because they can run off of a siphon - I have had these things drive in with fuel pumps that do not work (weird I know).
Most other concerns will set the CEL and give you a code to work from. The hpop may or may not ever set a low ICP code - usually not until after it stops working. Hope that helps.
