I recently got a 1947 pick up. I want to update the drivetrain to make it a good driver. I have looked at several companies that make aftermarket suspension parts only to find that a 1947 is usually not listed. Can anyone tell me what frame matches the 47, or is it a one year only frame. Many thanks!

I want to change the rear end to a more freeway friendly gear.....is there a rear end that will bolt in to the existing leaf springs? What year independent suspension (Mustang II) fits etc.
