So You Got Your 2015?!

CONGRATS!!!!

Help the rest of us out on narrowing down when we will actually get ours PLEASE! by providing the following as well as any other vital information that you think is important to the topic!

What day did you order your truck?
When did you find out it was going into production?
What was your given build date(if that is different than production date)?
What was your given delivery date?
What was your actual delivery date?
Any problems pop up along the way?

OR, did you buy it off the lot?

2015 F150

Hi James,

We did not order our 2015 F150, we bought ours off the showroom floor.
We went to the dealership looking to buy a new Explorer on Dec 13. The salesman mentioned they had just taken delivery of a 2015 f150. My wife looked at it, took it for a short test drive, and fell in love. We were told that this was the first one this dealership received and the first one sold. For us it was just dumb luck.

Things are a little hazy between when I ordered the truck and when the dealership ordered the truck but here goes:
10-6 Or earlier I go into the dealership and order the truck. A few weeks go by and I make some order changes, I'm told not a problem because the truck hasn't been ordered yet. By the end of October I'm getting antsy.
11-5 I finally get confirmation truck was ordered with the factory and I get a VIN number and build date of the week of 12/22.
Last night I googled the VIN number found my sticker which showed that the truck was built on 12-15. Today my dealership confirmed the truck was built and on "the ramp" and delivery is either the last week of December or the 1st week of January.
I'll definitely keep you posted.

The MSRP is quite scary. The truck is simply a work of beauty and congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone notice that the EPA estimates for the 3.5L EB changed to 17/23? This truck has a 3.55 locker so it very may well achieve that on a regular basis.

I love red trucks, and that one is a beauty. Nice job sir.
Still haven't seen any of these "in the wild" around here.
