hey guys, Im getting really hard long starts and then it'll chug once it turns over and blows a ton of white smoke. also its not pulling very well. even a light trailer really bogs her down and the throttle just feels kinda dead. also now it feels like there is no difference in-between the settings on my chip. any ideas would be appreciated. just turned over 200k and i don't think the injectors have ever been done.
What kind of glow plugs did you use. Might not be a bad idea to test them and the relay. You could plug it in also to see if it aids in cold starting. Check the uppipes and manifolds for leaks and or soot. Also check the fins for damage and free play.
Also I rebuilt the turbo not to long ago and fins and stuff is all good. I re tightened the bolts on the up pipes after one fell out. As far as I can tell they aren't leaking anymore but I will get in there and take a closer look
My stock 7.3 with just a 3" DP will get 10psi at 2k, 15psi at 2500, and 18psi at 2800. I don't rev it any more than that so I dont know if would reach 20 psi or no.
His signature says he has bellowed up-pipes, so that shouldn't be an issue unless the mounting bolts are loose.
If your GPs are all showing the correct ohms so you know they are good, but you are going through a few relays. That makes me think the Under valve cover harnesses may have some issues internally.
Are your batteries in good condition and the connections are all good? Corrosion can cause some finicky stuff.
