I had a 2008 come into the shop this last week for a passenger exhaust replacement.

So I searched online for tips, and about 10 topics from here popped up.
After reading a few threads, I know what was needed to do, and it gave me a new boost of confidence. I would have figured it out, but it would have taken more time. Knowing what was needed while going into it kept me from second guessing myself and allowed me to do what was needed before closing time.

I did my right manifold on the floor of my garage, I worked non stop just like I was at a job and it took me about 7 hours. I was a little worried when one of the studs broke off behind the strut tower! But I got it, its so quiet now I wish I'd have done it sooner.

 

it's on my next-to-do list. :/

 

It's not easy that's for sure. I HAD to life the motor up to get this one out. Got lucky as all the lower studs came out for me.
