It’s funny that you mention gutters with regard to weather. Around here, gutters are not standard equipment on new homes here for some reason. I have had to add them after the fact to my last two homes, and will have to add them here too, when funds become available. We do get plenty of rain here most of the time, and since freezing weather is such a rarity here, most of our winter precipitation is also rain.

Here too. I paid $800 for the whole house, with downspouts, etc. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was, and they were done in one morning.

Gutters are one thing I always have done, have to have the machine. Made the mistake of piecing them together from Lowes once............
House is looking good Roy, I like the natural look of the trim.

Howdy Bruce....Doug....Eric........
Thanks for the kind words......
I couldn't paint today.....the day started out at 40°F and 91% humidity. The primer can reads that 50°F as a minimum temp and 80% humidity as a maximum...
I get some work done at church that has been on the to-do list for awhile.....I'll continue at church tomorrow. Rain is the forecast for Thursday.
I was planning to do the alum gutters from Home Depot........ You are saying I should look into the seamless gutters.......

I'll have to look at that when the time comes..... It would be nice not to do it myself.....

We have in the past cut the rain gutter to make a lap joint (with sealer and pop rivets) instead of using those butt connectors. Works a lot better.

Roy - continually amazed at how much work you get done. Nice progress, and your place keeps looking better.

I'm waiting for Roy to come to my place first, Don. Last I knew I was on the last page of a 214 page list.
