The stud was wider that what the wheel was actually made for and the new lugs, being slightly different bevel, didn't sit well in the lug well on the wheel and would loosen. Just wanting everything to work out well for you when this is done. Hopefully all is fine, just wanted to mention it so it wouldn't cause you any troubles.
Man, you are making me want to do this so bad!
Thanks for the concern...... I will check.

Today I spent most of the day resting. Trying to give my left eye some healing time.
Tuesday I will be very busy all day with Foothills Christian School annual Banquet........ T.C. Stallings is our speaker........Warroom......

So, It will be Wed before I can check...... I will check.

When you are ready...... Line up three or four installs in your area and I'll show up to help you and do those.......

as long as the wheels are steel there shouldnt be a problem, ive run into cases of that with the aluminum wheels, they crack sometimes too when side loading them by backing up and turning sharp. gotta re torque them often and check lug seats on wheel for cracking.

I would guess that everything is being overloaded.....

Remember last spring....... I was trying to find the cause/cure for the badly wareing tire (front starboard side).... I discovered that the shackles connecting the steel leaf springs to the rubber springs were pointing down instead of up....... Installed wrong from the factory.. I do bet that this was the main cause of the failures......

You are probably correct!! Did you get that warmer weather I ordered for you? I hope so as I'm tired of the cold and I know you have to be.

How can Monty be tired of the cold? It hasn't even been cold there!

Forecast for over 70 today, woohoo!

Looks like Gerry is in for more snow this morning based on the radar.
