Jolly Green Giant...2015 F-350 KR DRW

So then, Roy, does this mean that you are installing air bags under your new truck? If so, what make and model are you installing? I have been wondering if I should do this or not. With my GN, my rear drops 3 inches, and I haven't measured with my 5er yet, but probably about the same.

There are control kits both using hoses from on board air tanks (ViAir) and wireless kits (Airlift).. both companies kits can control both rear bags as one or separately.
I have the Firestone kit on my 2012 dually and use the Airlift Wireless One controller. It makes a big difference in ride quality for me and my wife when towing the FW.

Seems we have used both Firestone Ride rite (2535) and Airlift (load lifter 5000) bag kits.

My guess is that since even 18 wheelers use bags for a better ride, the truck would ride better. The "need" part is more difficult to answer though.

I don't feel the need for airbags in my DRW. I loose about 2" but that is just barely touching the overloads.
Many miles with the 5er attached and I think the manners are darn good without the airbags.

my DRW is close to the overloads with 1 8ft 2x4 in the back. really rough ride on our rural backroads.. the airbags give me just enough adjustment to soften the ride a LOT with a little change. then with the FW the little bit not tail dragging makes the ride better..

I use my airbags for non towing related items as well. Trip to get brick pavers...no problem. Drums of oil...no problem. Firewood...no problem. I can't be seen sagging lol

I have them on my 13 DRW. Trailer has 2300+ pin weight and rode miserable. Back end was lower than the front. I have airlift 5000 ultimates, and they made a night and day difference in the way the truck rides with the trailer on. After installing the Airlifts, I think that Firestone has a nicer bracket to mount to the axle. I have an Airlift wirelessAir kit too, but haven't installed yet since I'm still unsure where I want the compressor.
