Howdy Roy. In the process of gathering info on the 8k axles and disc brakes for the Montana. I used your name in the initial approach to Performance Trailer Braking this week. Just to let you know...

Are you going to do the job ??

I think the axle up-grade is a wise move...... You will be thrilled by the disc brakes.....

I am just a phone call away if ya need any help.

I am coming along..... This whole mess has been an ordeal for sure....... I am hoping by then end of March that I am free of pain and able to do some light work around the house..

Take it easy as long as they tell you. It is really important for recovery. Have family that have had back surgery many times for not following that. I hope you a speedy recovery!

Yes sir I am if we go ahead with it. I would love the IS but just can't see spending the extra money nor do I have the time to go get it done. If I recall correctly, it was around $3200 for it all when you had it done. The axle swap shouldn't take a couple of hours, it's the brake wiring harness getting fished up through the filon and then tying it in would be time consuming I believe..

Sure it will....... 1 Day !
Really, I think it takes longer by the time you clean everything.... and drop one end of the axle on your foot......

For sure.....It takes what it takes.
