1966 Ford truck dash pad

Hi everyone:

I wounder if the 1966 Ford truck F100-F350 new after market dash pad has a holes for the speaker or just an opening to put the speaker grille on.

I appreciate all your info towards this subject.

I have no direct knowledge of whether the aftermarket '61 - '66 padded dash has a precut radio speaker hole, but I would guess not as I have seen a lot of pictures of OE trucks that have a padded dash but no speaker hole (and no radio). So it seems to me you'd have to provide your own speaker hole. To be sure, however, Number Dummy has an older post in which he says the sole provider of the '61 - '66 padded dash pad to all suppliers is called Just Dashes of Van Nuys, CA. Their website is Welcome To Just Dashes. See what they have to say. Good luck!

I doubt the repop padded dash has a precut radio speaker hole as the radio was an option.

The factory dash pad I took off my '66 had the speaker hole cut out and not a very neat job. It looked like someone in San Jose cut it out with a dull pocket knife or a church key! So, anyway I don't know if the reproduction would cut it out, but there is a lot of room to cut it out that will not be seen. I cleaned and painted the dash instead of buying one.
