Nice truck man. The single cabs look great. the link below is a picture of my fathers truck being dropped off the day he bought it. A little dirty but he cleaned it up nice that day. The truck is also loaded and has 4.30 gears with a 6 inch lift I believe and 36 inch tires. really great truck.

Beautiful truck. I'm very partial to regular cab long bed trucks with just a little bit of meat under them.

Oh...where's your cab lights?

Thanks for all the nice compliments. I’ve had a few people ask why I didn’t order it with the cab lights. I’ve always liked the cab lights myself and to be honest when I was sitting with the salesmen going down the order list I didn’t think of it and I know he didn’t mention it. The one thing I don’t understand is why you are so limited when you order a single cab. You can only order it in the XLT package so that means you can’t get leather, you can’t get the GPS screen. And there was a few other things that are not an option. I didn’t order the single cab because of financial reasons but because I like the looks of it and I wanted an 8 foot box without the truck being a mile long. I grew up a devout Chevy guy, why a ford? A real truck has a real front axle under it. That independent front suspension crap is for cars. My super duty has a big Dana 60 under it just like a truck should. Love the truck and shame on Chevrolet.

I bought a regular cab, and now I'm missing the back seat and the four doors. If I had a chance to go back in time, I'd be driving a crew cab today. If you buy a regular cab XL model like I did, you can cut your option list in half compared to the XLT model. But, I didn't want cloth or leather seats, and a carpeted floor, so I got a XL instead. The cloth seats in the Ford pickups tears and stain easy, and they collect dirt, so I went vinyl. And, believe me or not, the vinyl seats are more comfortable to sit in, then the cloth ones.

I didnt know vinyl seats were an option or I would have picked that over cloth. I wanted leather, always leather becasue I'm a clean nut and you can wipe off leather and you cant wipe cloth. I love the single cab, I get more compliments than any vehicle I've had in a long time.

Vinyl seats are only an option on XL models, as well as the vinyl floor mat. The only problem with leather is, is that is too high maintenance and cracks as it ages. My truck looks like yours, but it's still stock with $3,000 of options like a factory spray-in liner, gooseneck hitch, brake controller, tailgate step, heavy service suspension, up fitter switches, running boards, and 4.30 gears. I never cared much for lights on the mirrors so I had to go with crank widows and manual door locks.

I took it off. Since the seat goes up against that back of the cab you cant really tilt the seat back much unless you pull the seat ahead and thats not an option since I'm over six feet tall. The head rest was kind of pushing my head down and I didnt like it. If you look at the head rests they tilt forward for some reason so I took it out. I'm surprised anyone noticed it was missing.
