New F350 single cab
#17
Nice truck man. The single cabs look great. the link below is a picture of my fathers truck being dropped off the day he bought it. A little dirty but he cleaned it up nice that day. The truck is also loaded and has 4.30 gears with a 6 inch lift I believe and 36 inch tires. really great truck.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. I’ve had a few people ask why I didn’t order it with the cab lights. I’ve always liked the cab lights myself and to be honest when I was sitting with the salesmen going down the order list I didn’t think of it and I know he didn’t mention it. The one thing I don’t understand is why you are so limited when you order a single cab. You can only order it in the XLT package so that means you can’t get leather, you can’t get the GPS screen. And there was a few other things that are not an option. I didn’t order the single cab because of financial reasons but because I like the looks of it and I wanted an 8 foot box without the truck being a mile long. I grew up a devout Chevy guy, why a ford? A real truck has a real front axle under it. That independent front suspension crap is for cars. My super duty has a big Dana 60 under it just like a truck should. Love the truck and shame on Chevrolet.

I bought a regular cab, and now I'm missing the back seat and the four doors. If I had a chance to go back in time, I'd be driving a crew cab today. If you buy a regular cab XL model like I did, you can cut your option list in half compared to the XLT model. But, I didn't want cloth or leather seats, and a carpeted floor, so I got a XL instead. The cloth seats in the Ford pickups tears and stain easy, and they collect dirt, so I went vinyl. And, believe me or not, the vinyl seats are more comfortable to sit in, then the cloth ones.

I didnt know vinyl seats were an option or I would have picked that over cloth. I wanted leather, always leather becasue I'm a clean nut and you can wipe off leather and you cant wipe cloth. I love the single cab, I get more compliments than any vehicle I've had in a long time.
