2013 3.7 vibration at stop
I have a 2013 3.7 2wd.. It has 18,000 miles on it I bought the truck in June with 8000 with a k&n cold air intake and an after market muffler and noticed a small vibration at idle at a stop the rpms kinda drop and it shakes the truck I took it to the dealer a week ago and they said the mechanic could definatly feel the shake so they did all kinds of tests and said the k&n intake is causing it to get to much air at a stop.. They said it wont hurt the motor but if it gets worse to take it back... Are they blaming it on the intake as a easy way out or is this common? Not sure if I should try to find a stock intake since I don't have the original intake to see if it goes away?

Well like I said in my post I bought the truck with an intake installed on it already I would of personally left it stock.. The dealer said it was helping with fuel milage they said most 3.7s they get in there avg 15-16 city and I'm getting 19-20 city .. But none of this solves my vibration problem when I'm at a stop.. I'm not here to get told that stock intakes are good enough Im here to solve my problem

Based on it's age and warranty status most users here would have suggested that you take it back to the dealer and have them diagnose your issue, you did that already.

Sounds like the dealer gave you the facts, now you're here looking for opinions on those facts. OK sir, in my humble opinion, return the intake system and air filter to stock.

I appreciate your input But I was hoping to get opinions from people with the same motor and intake or possibly the same issues with the k&n intake that can back there opinions with there own experience with the intake.. I'm sure I'm not the only person on here with a 3.7 that has a k&n cold air intake..
