97 ford with a 5.4 it stalls out at idle
I have a 97 ford f150 with a 5.4 I bought the truck with 114000 miles on it and the exhaust manifold bolts were broke from the exhaust I have replace the whole manifold with new gaskets and bolts and I get the codes 1131 and 1151 which indicates o2 sensors indicate lean and I also get p0136 and p0153 which indicate lean or front o2 sensors it will stay running for a little bit every once in a while but it only idles at 200 to 400 rpms and I'm not sure what to do any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

It appears from the codes you may have several trouble at the same time.
Code 136 Ox sensor bank 1 sensor 2 has a circuit issue.
It may be the plug or the harness.
.
Code 153 for bank 2 sensor 1 slow response may be contaminated or damages or just old.
.
Code 1131 Ox sensor bank 1 sensor 1 is detecting to much oxygen and has cause the fuel table to **** out od limits setting the code.
Code 1151 is the same but for bank 2.
These two codes indicate an air leak in the intake tract after the throttle body.
.
The low idle means the IAC has completely closed. This may be due to the system trying to recover the idle from to much air due to the leak. Or it may be dirty and need cleaning.
.
You need to address the codes one at I time until all the issues are cleared.
You must not run with a code based on the first 'key' word presented on a scanner or reader, but go on the basis of what it suggest is the problem.
Since you just got the truck, you got a number of issues along with it to solve.
I would do the following based on the trucks age and code indications.
For the code 153, replace that sensor for sluggishness.
For code 136 check out the harness and plug.
The other two codes are related to the same cause. Check out all the hoses and PCV connections on the rear of the throttle body manifold.
The IAC, clean it and the throttle body just on principle due to age dirt/gum accumulations.
Good luck.

Before all of that check your PVC valve and elbows on both ends. I just fixed a similar problem with my 97 f150 5.4L. I had half a dozen codes and found on one of the forum sites to check the elbow connections. Sure enough the connection on the other end was broken. All codes went away and idles normally.
