Question Physical location of EEC-IV module

Got a new ECM as truck (93 F150) running lousy and have tried almost everything else. Can anyone tell me exactly where the the EEC-IV unit is physically located? Don't see it on the firewall, either side. In the fender well, perhaps??? Thanks. finlander42

My '91 is in the cab on the right hand side behind the park break kick panel.
Take a look at this site, Fuel Injection Technical Library it might shed some light on the ECU location.

It's behind the driver's kick panel and you remove it from the inside the engine compartment IIRC. It's been a while but I think removing the wheel liner helps.

Yup. Remove a few of the screws holding the bottom/back of the plastic wheel well and it will be pretty easy.

Red face EEC-IV module location

Many thanks for the quick replies. Will try to pick the lesser of two evils and tackle the job on my day off. Limited time as the jobs are coming fast and furious, which is not all bad. finlander42
