New to the forum.
I just purchased a brand new 2014 Extended Cab F150 XLT 4x4 5.0 Black in color.
Needless to say I am STOKED!!!!!!Bad thing is, I am a construction PM working in California. My wife drove the truck home.....in Arkansas.......So, there she will sit....All alone until I fly home in 2 days.....Sleepless nights guys, sleepless nights.
I traded a 2007 Silverado 4x4. I never had any mechanical problems, but fit and finish and quality of the interior and body was horrible. I have no idea why I bought that Chevy.....
My first truck was a Ford F150...Got her new in 1989 and passed her on in 2003. Ive owned three Mustangs. 2 Gts and a Cobra and an F150 Lightning...
and an Excursion(Really wished I would have held on to that one)
I hope to have a long term relationship with my new one. Ive been waiting for some time to buy her.

Build plans are as follows.
1. Leveling kit.
2. Larger tires(TBD)
3. Hidden Winch
4.Rear locker(TBD)
5. lower gears(TBD)
6. Cat Back exhaust
and whatever else may come to mind.....Tinted windows,etc

I have many TBD's...I hope to find answers here.
Any advise would be well recieved..

Great to have you here Mike. Have a blown 92 Foxbody pushing 10LBS of boost myself.

 

I miss my Stangs......Life and kids.........Traded Mustangs for Harleys......I always wanted a Fox body....but by the time I could afford one, they were gone...Oh well......

 

I've had my fox for 15 years. Got it when I was 26, the guy in the mirror's getting old...lol

My kids like taking a ride in it.

 

Well,
I have to say that I am impressed. I arrived home late last night, so I could only see it in the dark. I climbed around inside of it like a kid on a new swing set.
Looking at today in the sunlight, I have to say that it is a good looking truck. I like the lines on it. I really missed the square look of a truck from when I was young.
I was not let down on the first drive either. It has plenty of power. The ride is so smooth, it is almost like riding in a car. The controls were not too difficult to get used to. I really like the Sync system. Once I pared the phone,(and learned the voice commands)It worked very well..... I believe the sound system needs a little help, but will do for now.
I think that this is a great truck. I look forward to making it my own.
