Shell Oil Sources in Canada

Curious as to where guys are buying their motor oil in Canada? I'm running the Shell Rotella 5w40 Synthetic and paying $150 at the local Canadian Tire (which works out to $180 with tax for an 18.9 liter pail) but am sure there must be a cheaper source out there. Any info would be appreciated.

Also if any of you in the US have found a cheap source I'd like to hear about it. I'm working close to the border so it'd be nothing for me to drive across and pick some up if it's a lot cheaper. Thanks

I always bought it from Walmart, I found the 5L jugs to be about $3 cheaper than Canadian Tire. I know it's not a big savings but oil is expensive in Canada no matter where you go.

O'reilly Auto Parts here in the states have sales a few times a year on Rotella T6. I have purchased it as low as $19 US per gallon jug. Currently it's $29 each. Helps to check on sales from time to time, maybe stores in your area do that.

I'd like to add that if you sign up for their O'reilly rewards program you'll get some pretty good coupons sent to your email every so often.

Purchasing from Walmart, I've averaged about $21 bucks a U.S. Gallon. Sometimes they have rebates of $5 tied to them making them even cheaper. .

Thanks for the info guys. Low and behold I checked my local Canadian Tire flyer last night and they have the pails on sale for $128. Not a huge savings but it helps. I'll buy a few of them and then I'll definitely check Walmart and O'Reilly's in the US the next time I cross the border. Cheers
