factory seat

Anyone on here have or anyone know of somewhere I can get a factory seat for this 54? Doesn't have to be in the greatest of shape. I am just wanting the factory seat back in it. I have looked far and wide here in Central Texas and can't come up with one.

I do need a gas tank, but for a 53-55. Under the step mount. :-(

Buy a new tank and never look back. I finally gave up on my original tank after years of chasing seeps.

The 53 -56 cabs were all identical in inside dimensions. I wouldn't think it difficult to find an OEM seat if you look hard enough. Look for a (semi) abandoned parts truck, not just a seat for sale, hardly anyone tries/advertises to sell an OEM seat alone, too cumbersome to economically ship, hardly ever with good upholstery, doesn't usually bring much/any money.

56 seat tracks will fit in a 53-55 but a 53-55 seat track will not fit a 56 because of the gas tank. The tracks are different, seats are the same

Thanks guys. Problem is, there aren't that many "junk" yards around me locally. I drive a tow truck, so I don't have a lot of days off to go scouring places. We have a few newer car part yards, but just one with classic stuff. Already checked with him on the seat. Gonna check on one a guy messaged me on that is only about 65 miles away from me. He says he has more parts which works out well cause I could use a couple of solid front fenders.
