Maintaining a column shift
After noticing how much smoother my 69 shifts as compared to my 71, can someone advise as to the maintenance/replacement points in the shifting process? I noticed some rubber bushings on the firewall side of the process that would seem candidates for replacement/lubrication, but not sure what it takes to keep a column shift functioning at its best.
