Too much chrome?
Hey guys. I am planning on doing the letter inserts in the grille, tailgate, and dash on my 2008 F250 that already has a chrome package and was wondering what your thoughts were on doing chrome inserts in the tailgate and dash, and red on the grille. There is a lot of chrome already so I am hesitant to add too much more considering I put the chrome Bug Shield on it. Not only that the chrome takes a ton of time to keep clean. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

i always debate this same question with super duty friends, and have swapped things back and forth to get best look. i have found the SD platinum door handles look better than all chrome set up. handle is chrome, surround is body color. you could come close by removing the chrome handle overlays and painting surround body color
tailgate letters usually look best in black vinyl (if contrasts with cars color) as the chrome ones are to thick and u loose the recessed look. then u can use same for the front grill letters
