2012 Escape reset low tire pressure light

Thank you for reaching out, leafswin. Based upon the owner’s manual, the low tire pressure warning illuminates when your tire pressure is low. If the light remains on at start up or while driving, the tire pressure should be checked. Refer to Inflating your tires in the Tires, Wheels and Loading chapter. When the ignition is first turned to on, the light will illuminate for three seconds to ensure the bulb is working. If the light does not turn on or
begins to flash, have the system inspected by your authorized dealer. Please find helpful tips on pages 15, 189, 190, 191, and 192, using this link: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo.../12204og2e.pdf I’ll be here if you need me.

Re:2012 Escape TPSM
I came across the same issue in my 2011 Escape. I came across a fix, that I have yet to try, but others had.
1) Pressing the hazard warning button 6 times. Horn will honk.
2) Dash will display will show "train left front tire".
3) Release air from tire until horn honks.
4) Dash display will show "train right front tire"
Follow this procedure for all tires. TPMS is supposed to "trained"
Fill your tires to the recommend pressure.

TPMS Failed Attempt
That's the procedure which might vary by vehicle but I fairly sure that it requires a training tool at least. At one time Ford included the basic training tool with the F-150. I got one off eBay for around $30. I waited too long to pick one up, they were around $20 earlier.
Ill shop for a Tool!

Using the 8C2Z-1A203-AB tool. I think this replaced the 8C2Z-1A203-A tool.

Got a TPMS Sensor Fault today! All were around 26/27 PSI but I raised them to 31 PSI anyway. The L/R wouldn't train, tried twice. It's off to the dealer tomorrow and that's three out of four OEMs gone bad. I "once" knew were the two new ones were but I forgot to it down after one oil change.
