Totally OT but Ford

Just a cool well shot piece.
Since I'm a camera operator I thought I'd share.
Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing... Jeb gets "it" about hot rodding.

The rig reminds me of Gizmoness: Custom Peterbilt Rod - James Crosby Designs Gizmoness Hot Rod - Hot Rod Magazine

As does Yannick Sire who is down in SoCal as gets "it"..: Custom Speed Buggy - Yannick Sire's Freaky Twin-Engine Hot Rod - Hot Rod Magazine

Thanks for posting that Marc.
I like the unfinished welds, I don't know but it just "fits" the truck.
My company is based in NC, the next time I'm at the office I'll have to find that little town and do a drive through and check it out.

Yeah, love that stuff.
You know, as beautiful as our trucks ( like Steve's and that blue one) are and can be I really appreciate the thought process that goes into some of the newer "rat rod" inspired designs.
There is some fun engineering and craftsmanship going on.

I appreciated the excellent video work as well. I fact, it drove me to find the Cutworm Specialties web site. Fascinating stuff there.
I'd like to see a full sized pickup done in this style. Or maybe a car hauler to transport some of their creations.

awesome. the stuff that some of the new age builders are turning out is so wild, and thanks to the internet, we all get to enjoy it in living color.

its neat to see the old meets new influences, still doing it by hand but with better materials, nicer tools and another couple generations of experience learning what works and doesn't work.

On pages 94 to 97 of my October 2014 issue of RebelRodz theres a pic of a truck similar to that one but is rigged up to be a tow truck. They named it Undertaker, it's a rat rod version. Wish I knew how to raise up the pics but they're over 2 pages.
