Just purchased my first Ex, 2002 V10 with 120,000 actual miles..Also own Ford F150, 1986 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer,2013 E150 and a Ford Edge AWD.
Few mods I want to do, side view mirrors, front grill and tires and rims, rear sway bar, led lighting interior. Found mirror mod on here but can't find info on tire/rim size change without having to lift truck, all I want to do is fill up the fender wells as much as I can. Other question, can I get a 2007 grille and replace or do I have to find a modded 2007 grille. Also crossed my mind to convert grille but in black with black bumper.???

 

I run 305/70R16 on my 04 and plan to up the 01 to them soon as well. Really fills out the fender wells nicely.

IIRC 305/75/16 is the largest on factory wheels w/o lift, w/o rubbing.

If you want an '07 grill you can get either a modded grill ( Ford Paintable 05-07 Super Duty/Excursion Grille Fits 99-04 ) or you can mod the header panel, headlights, bumper and grill to all '05-'07 style.
