I'm looking for the nylon, I believe, bushing that is by the trans that joins the linkage from inside the cab. I did a search on NPD and it shows a 2 piece rubber bushing with a metal sleeve. Did the same search on DC and has no pic to match the part.
My reason for looking is my truck has jumped out of park on a couple of occasions and my buddy said it is most likely the nylon bushing.
Just want to make sure I'm getting the right part.
Finally got this part and installed. Had no idea the loose shifts out of park were because of this $5 part, just thought the column was worn.
The space between the column linkage and linkage for the kick down rod at the transmission looks real close when she is in Park. Does anyone have or can take a pic of the linkage on their rig from under truck? Just want to make sure I have it right.
