My powerstroke7.3 won't start it jus cranks over but if I pull start it then it fires right up however its one qt low on oil could this be my problem
1 quart low won't make a difference in starting. What will make a difference is if your batteries are not strong, along with the connections, glow plug system, and your starter. These trucks require a lot of juice to start. Load test your batteries to check their condition.
How about your battery connections and cables. Connections and posts need to be shiny clean, and the battery cables can corrode inside the vinyl covering. A failing starter can also be a power drain. If you are able to start it by pulling it, there's something draining the needed amps to start it with your key.
