I just bought a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT. I have a question about the second row of seats.
( No manual on the truck ! ) My second row seat I can only fold the passanger left and right seats but not the center seat. There is a part missing on top of the seat on the upper left corner.
Have no idea on what is missing.... I have cloth seats.
any clues on what is my center seat missing and is it suppose to fold ????

 

Yes, the center seat does fold. On the 2002, there should be a little plastic lever stick out of it. You'd pull up on it and the seat would fold. Sounds like someone broke the lever.

 

Thanks so much...I went to the dealer and bought the part..it is a lever to fold down the seat.
