The gas tank on a 1942-47 ford pickup is held in by 3 bolts under the seat. I have seen two different reproduction kits, one kit has 2 standard bolts and the third bolt fitted with a spring. The second kit had all 3 bolts fitted with springs. Can anybody advise which is correct for a pickup.

I didn't see this until I made my question thread. From the tank I am trying to get out has a 9/16 nut on the front and back of the passenger side. The driver side has the spring fitting which, I don't know how to get off.
