A mod you haven't seen before

This will not be one of those general "must have" mods but I'm pretty sure no one else has done this mod in the past...

So, during a moment of IPA induced brilliance I thought I'd solve the issue I had properly attaching my cargo net in the third row location. It turns out that the tie downs I had left over for my Porsche (designed to be mounted on the rear lower shock mounts in order to have a tie down point on the car when trailering) we're perfect for the cargo net application.

In the first two pictures show the cargo net I'm referring to.

The next two pictures you can see how it is possible to mount the tie downs using the third row seat belt mounting points using existing hardware.

Lastly, the fifth picture shows the hardware I will try to use in order to get another mounting location to secure the mid-section of the cargo net. I'm not at all sure this type of hardware will work in that location but I will find out when I remove the trim panel over each wheel well. I'll let you know how it goes.

Haha - you dog!

But yes, a good mod if you have dogs or chicken or goats or small children ... anything that'll mess with your pristine interior up front.

KILLER!! Let us know if the eye bolt has anything to mount to underneath. My gut says no (I think the internal sheet metal underneath is a pretty decent distance from the plastic panel), so you may have to get a pretty long one and finangle a way to attach it to that sheet metal.

Holy hell that's $$$$$!!!! I'll take my chances with a fish net first! There has to be a cheaper alternative.
