Today we rember those who have fallen doing their duty to the concept of this country. and to those still doing their duty.

I also feel it is a time to remind us citizens that we also have a duty to perform.
It is not only a citizens right to complain about the actions taken by those we have chozen to represent us but it is our duty to do so. Sometimes it is necessary to remind the people in government that they only stay there if we allow it.
Way to much complacency exists in our citizens today. Take an active part in our government.

Isn't today Veterans Day. Memorial Day was May 26th

 

I thank our Vets and service people every day

 

Yes it is vets day but to me the purpose of the holiday is the same for each, just a different day and date.
My sentiments are the same and for every other day of the year.
Be proactive in your government. Otherwise you get the government you deserve if you just sit on your duff.
