Just an update...

I just booked the hotels for the journey back to Fall Creek Falls.

We're leaving on the 14th and arriving on the 17th.

Really looking forward to meeting all you folks.

 

Recent events make it unlikely that I will have the F6 ready in time. If my situation was to continue, it would be workable but my current employment will soon be over and with it will go my work space. I am looking for something else right now but the outlook is that I will find storage space, but not actually work space to complete the truck by September. A lucky break would change that, but I am not going to count on that. I will probably still make it out there, but my girl probably won't be ready for the trip.

 

WE will welcome you with or with out your truck .

Today I spoke with a friend who had stopped by Falls Creek Falls for lunch last week. He and his fiance each had the mid day buffet. Great report on food. And this guy is not one to give complements unless they're deserved.

 

The dear wife and I had an event in that direction so we stopped by Falls Creek Falls State Park this morning for breakfast. We had the buffet breakfast, found the food varied, tasty and plentiful. The service folks at the lodge were friendly and helpful. We drove through the cabin area and believe it will make for a great gathering place although group parking may be tight. Looking forward to TS'15

 

There is a small loop in front of cabins 329 & 330 on the left as you enter the area. Since you and I have those cabins, and Ross's and Jolly Roger Joe's are very close, I figured that would be a good spot for group parking.

 

If any one attending the event needs a heater , heater parts , related items & etc. for a '48-'52 let me know & I will bring them along . Save you on shipping . Am bringing a set of running boards for Joe .Will have room in the truck .Thanks , Denny

 

Well, we are now 10 weeks away from Truckstock 2015 and I wanted to let anyone that has not made reservations know that there is still time. Although all of the cabins are taken, we still have several rooms in the lodge being held for us. The hold on those rooms will be released on Friday August 14, so you must call before then.

Looks like thats only a 5 hour drive for me. I wonder if the old truck is up for the task. Ill have to think about that.
