Roof cab lights

Since I had the headliner down to install dynamat and dynapad I figured I'd go ahead and install the roof cab lights while in there. The good news is that once I got over being apprehensive drilling holes in the roof, the installation was easy.

The bad news is that I don't know if I like them now that they are on. I'll get used to it (committed now).

I think my iPhone played a trick on me and changed "cab" to "can" and don't know if I can edit the title - sorry about that

Pah. It's what attracted me to the thread in the first place. Saw it and "WTF is he talking about..."

I think smoked lenses would look a lot better IMHO.

Agree - I'll have to order some smoked lenses and see how that looks.

Now that I think about it, maybe hit a parts yard and grab some. Pick up a can of Nightshade tail light tint spray and give that a shot. May save you some coin.

Other than nightshade paint - any recommendations of particular brand of tinted "cab" lenses?

I've ordered Recon smoked lenses and Amber LED bulbs. I'll post an update once I have them installed.

Please do, this is something I've been debating for years... I think those would look great on my EX.
