Looking to get my custom pedestal made asap to support the turbo. This only has to support the turbo and wont contain anything related to oil. Just wondering what a good way about this is, where should I bolt it to? Those little 5mm bolts in the back of the intake seem too teeny. Kind of thinkign of drilling and tapping the bellhouysing plate for some M10 bolts?
The main weight of the turbo will be resting on the flange.

 

the banks sidwinder unit in my 88 mounts to the back of the passenger side head. and it has no oil or anything else in it either. exhaust from manifolds goes into single up pipe that goes into the bottom of the pedestal rite under the turbo, with a tapped port for the EGT thermocouple..
