Midfifty Fiberglass Long Running Boards

I made a post about this in my build thread it hasn't gotten any replies so I figure this is probably a better shot. So my 54 F250 has really bad running boards, and I'm finding that anything I can find is either outrageous or just as bad. Now my question is if anyone has used the fiberglass running boards from midfifty, how are they, any problems with warping? How difficult are they to install, what extra work or parts were needed other than those bedside extensions midfifty sells, and anything else I should be worried about. My budget for this project isn't much, but if I cant find any running boards around in decent shape, I'm thinking I might be money ahead going for this, rather than waiting for something to pop up that will likely need a lot of work.. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, if you are talking about our part F2-0302-R & L, we only have 1 set left then there will be no more, the company that made them went out of business a few years ago

It was the same place that made our F-100 golf cart

Also the right side one is marked scratch n dent since it has a chip missing, but that also means that the right side is 70% off

The scratch n dent one is here

Long Bed Running Board, Ribbed, Fiberglass, Right

Here is the chip

70% off or 70% of the original price. 70% off would bring us to $85.50, which I'd be making an order tonight if this was the case!

MidFifty is 70% OFF on their scratch and dents right now. If you click on the link she provided, it does show the scratch and dent RB as $85.50.

Since the flat rate shipping can't be combined with any other offer, I'm not sure what it would mean for a bottom line.

Ahh. I didn't know about the S&D promo. Well, I guess I'll be making an order if this is the case

We would do the scratch n dent price along with the flat rate promo, i'm thinking its going to be a permanent price discount anyways.

Plus it would be nice to get these to a good home finally, they have been sitting around for quite some time now

A little Kittyhair filler and surfacer putty would take care of that, gonna paint them anyhow?

That's what I was thinking. That and the crack is in a spot that's under the cab isn't it?

Awesome! This makes me feel better about my purchase. I was getting all worried about warping and cracking. I hope my luck with these is as good as you had with yours!
