I don't know what they're for, there aren't any parts catalog pics (except 1966/77 Bronco) to ID them.

Since there are so many different front bumpers, I listed their part numbers.

Panel rear bumper is the same as the front except it has four square holes for the brackets.

Correct ribbed 51-52 front and rear bumpers are now reproduced by Dennis Carpenter. Much cheaper to buy them new than to have an original straightened and/or chromed.

None of the bumpers you have pictured are correct for a 1950 Ford pickup or truck of any kind. 48-50 front bumpers were smooth, 51-2 used the ribbed one you have. Original parts catalogs of the period do not show a rear bumper being serviced until the 51-2 ribbed version, which will physically fit earlier models. Prior to 1951, it appears rear bumpers were an aftermarket only item.

Merc, I knew that 48/50 bumpers where smooth, Im fully ok with having a 51/52 rear bumper. I just wanted to make sure it was a 51/52 bumper for ford p/u and not a bumper from say a 60s chevy.. Plus the guy i got them from has tons of 48/52 ford parts.. Not saying that mixed in his barn of parts he didnt have other truck parts from other makes of car and trucks parts beside ford 48/52
